The Denim Coreset tops, and sculpted, leather belt buckles were some of the eye catching details of the show. The inspiration for the very angular collection was a French western from 1971 called "Les Pétroleuses". The title means Frenchie King in English and starred in Brigitte Bardot and Claudia Cardinale.
All about the 2018 spring / summer collection by Mugler conveyed strength and style. According to David Koma, the aesthetics was based on the characters who played Bardot and Cardinale in the procession.
The Western references are not really obvious, minus the touch of cowboy boots accents to the shoes. The collection was very well rounded, although most looks had pointed shoulders or hips.

In Spring 2018, Elie Saab showcased a lot of movement and Amazonian Forest Vibratios in the ready-to-wear collection. The flowing silk was transformed into day dresses, evening dresses and very sexy accessories.
The colors at the Elie Saab Spring 2018 fashion show were alive, beautiful and very representative of the Frühli ngs, but some of the absolutely best looks came in the patterns. Everything was beautiful and the pieces included jumpsuits, mini dresses, fringes and some incredible jackets, but the really stunning ensembles were with the long flowing silk.
A dark skirt with a fully decorated and pleated high waisted design was crowned with a button and tie-front shirt with just the right amount of sharpness and volume on the sleeves to keep it updated and look different.
Strappy stiletto shoes worn with everyone The outfit stretched in design and color on the slopes and was also an allusion to the novelty of spring. The looks were coherent and well together, alive and new.
Patterns that played with the dark and vivid colors of Spring 2018 created breathtaking illusions that the audience was not quite prepared for - they seemed to be an unexpected joy, blended with the monochrome options. Elie Saab's line-up was another collection that really played with Ombre, Fransen and Sheer for an incredibly varied show.
Towards the end of the show, green and yellow foliage patterns and bright yellow pieces were predominant. For those who like darker colors or just a crisp, white color, there were options in the collection. Graceful, great looking options in navy and black and even a collection of rainforest jewels also appeared.
Overall, the Elie Saab Spring / Summer 2018 collection was glorious from beginning to end, each option a dazzling and refined design for every wardrobe.
