New York Fashion Week Spring 2018 has come to an end, but not quiet. Instead, his latest fashion shows are one of the most extravagant of all time (as you'll see, a particular fashion show surpassed the Fenty x Puma Spring 2018 extravaganza). On this last NYFW day, we focused on three of the "most American" collections, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren and Marc Jacobs.
Creative, and often prone to opulence, have Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren and Marc Jacobs our expectations and thirst for fashion not disappointed, but surprised us with new interpretations of fashion and entertainment. Here's what happened at their runway shows.
Michael Kors Spring / Summer 2018 RTW Collection
As usual, Michael Kors' fashion show was one of the most anticipated. Like Tom Ford, Michael Kors is one of the few American designers currently experiencing the strongest sales growth, and this is also due to his relationship with his customers. He seems to anticipate perfectly what to expect and expect a fashion house whose ensembles are always ready and fashionable.
The fashion designer has succeeded in creating casual fashion for the spring / summer collection 2018 by Michael Kors to turn into urban styles that are suitable for both leisure and busy everyday life. According to Michael Kors, next spring, it will be all about feeling good, carefree and yet immaculate, and above all, it is about the needs of a woman.
"Do you remember that you never saw a girl wearing flip-flops or cutoffs in New York, London or any major city in the world?" He told WWD during a preview. "The reality is that this is no longer the reality, how do I increase that ease with a kind that works in a city?"
White sweatshirts, pastel shades, front-knit shirts, practical trench coats and Overall, early looks of the '00s all the answers to this question, and the implementation of the collection on future actual sales, we bet, will be extremely positive.
Ralph Lauren Fall / Winter 2017-2018 RTW Collection
What would a NYFW be like without a Ralph Lauren Runway Show? Unveiled on September 13, Ralph Laurens Autumn / Winter 2017-18 "Buy Now Now Collection" was an ode to the passion of the fashion house and luxury car fashion house founder and was as iconic as a fashion and luxury car show.
Ralph Lauren's 2017-18 Autumn / Winter collection, which was showcased in Ralph Lauren's garage at his private New York City home, featured both models and Mr. Lauren's collection of exclusive automobiles, all lined up on the runway. The show, which was in a co-ed and buy-now format, was celebrating Ralph Lauren's art fashion from start to finish, with the iconic suits being the line's only protagonists.
The collection, which was definitely ready for fall, featured coordinates and plaids in abundance, along with a pair of Moto GP-inspired outfits, which in return contrasted Ralph Lauren's extra-opulent ball robes, the lines, formed and materials that resembled haute couture rather than ready-to-wear.
Of course, the show culminated in a lobster dinner from his signature restaurant that gave the audience a full Ralph Lauren-approved experience I'll most likely forget. "After working so hard to create your collection, you want your audience to experience it in the perfect setting," said Mr. Lauren to The Man Repeller. Immediately he wins the "most extravagant NYFW Fashion Show Award" hands down.
Marc Jacobs Spring / Summer 2018 RTW Collection
At Park Avenue Armory, the Marc Jacobs Spring 2018 Runway Show started off as quiet and austere, with the models marching just to the sound of their own shoes (which were all strangely covetous). As they approached the grand finale of the collection, Marc Jacobs played an aria from 1981's French film Diva as background music, which astonished audiences.
Inspired by French couture, exotic sceneries and late twenties fashion At the same time, Marc Jacobs Spring Collection 2018 experi became both mental and dreamy, with the exaggerated silhouettes perfectly emphasizing this surreal spirit. The collection could be described as a French couture lover Queen Nefertiti in the twentieth century and was not for the casual-chic souls. Turbans, capes, rich colors, and sparkly dresses were all an intrinsic part of Marc Jacobs' exotic and timeless dream, whose fashionable references will mark a turning point in the American designer's fad.
