Fall/ Winter 2017-2018 Hair Accessory Trends

# 1. Black Bows

I love how a bow, usually an emblem of femininity, was ranked for hair accessories in the Fall / Winter 2017-2018 trends. Consistently, the black bows this season have been paired with very mature and easy hair styling options that leave childlike innocence behind. This season, black bows are a sophisticated choice for every adult soiree.

On the Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini runway, the models wore their hair in a loose low ponytail secured with a small and clean black bow. A Tory Burch, a similar deep ponytail with a central part, was secured with a lush, large velvet bow. A big berth was also the favorite styling choice in Marchesa, where he gained a muted and feminine touch updo. At Rochas, a delicate black bow was intriguingly tied over a folded ponytail. Velvety smooth bands adorned the heads of models at the Temperley London Show. They were girly wrapped around the head and came to a sweet bow at the base of the neck. Emilia Wickstead broke the ponytail combination by instead incorporating black ribbons into a loose, upright hairdo. The black bow was tied to a strand at the front and simply worked into the hair.

# 2. Stiff Headbands

Whether they were made of plastic or leather, covered with ornaments or left plain, headbands were a ubiquitous choice for fall / winter 2017-2018 hair accessories.

On the Altuzarra Catwalk, a variety of stiff headbands were custom-made, and each one was unique and radiated a different image, which can be a headband. Not a few were furry and studded with gems, which reminded me of a romantic Russian aristocrat who looked glamorous in the winter. Others were simple and covered in fabric, perfect for a casual day look.

The metallic headbands of Elie Saab were the definition of glamor. These beautiful gold headbands are adorned with ornaments and jewels and are a perfect match for any formal outfit. The headbands were all subtly chic, and some of them stand out a little more thanks to a golden leaf design.

On the runway of Lela Rose, the black headbands were covered with a bit of black cloth, which added a bit of space to the look along with a rustic feel.

We saw all kinds of hair accessories, the heads at Dolce u. Gabbana, including simple black hair bands adorned with flowers, another of the fall / winter 2017-2018 hair accessories trends.

# 3. Stretchy Fabric Headbands

When we think of fabric headbands, we traditionally imagine a sporty look - maybe we'll face each other These elastic headbands prevent sweat from being worn during exercise. While some of the stretchy headbands that made hair accessory trends in the fall of 2017 are certainly sporty, many were instead unique, edgy or totally fabulous.

For the Carmen Marc Valvo Catwalk, a few of the models she wore wide black headbands, which snaked around her head and stretched from the top of her forehead almost to the crown.

At Chanel, the wide knit headbands worked perfectly with the teased '60s Bouffant, who had styled the hair. These headbands were the epitome of comfortable chic, made from warm and luxurious-looking wool that covered the ears, and studded with shiny beads on the front.

In the H & amp; M Studio had both the men and the women their heads are decorated with black leather headbands. The headbands sat directly on the hairline, in an impractical, state-of-the-art proposal for a practice headband.

At Gucci, the collection of fabric headbands was eccentric and versatile. This was not surprising since the models, who did not get hats or headbands, instead turned their hair into big, architectural creations.

A sporty headband with the inscription "D & G Millennials" that broke through the romantic wave that Dolce & amp; Gabbana show has certainly emerged.

# 4. Belt Headbands

This is the second season when we see belts on our heads. Unlike last year, I think the belt headbands of the Fall / Winter 2017-2018 hair accessory trends are super cute and suitable for any occasion.

At Miu Miu, many of the models wore headbands that looked very explicit like belts in different dark colors. The belt buckle was silver and round and covered in a crystal design.

On the Trussardi runway, on the other hand, there was an ornamental headband with a large metal design in the middle that made the whole look very belt-like, but in a fabulous, chic way.

# 5. Blinged -Out Hair Accessories

There were some really gorgeous pieces in this season that were so delicate and wrapped their heads in jewels. These were pretty headbands, just amazing headdresses that gave a unique touch of glamor.

At Miu Miu, this crowning piece was almost like a lampshade, with a circular chain attached to the crown and smaller chains of crystal around the head.

At Maison Margiela, a silver piece of various necklaces hung over the head of the model and went down over the shoulders, decorating the rest of the outfit and really bridging the gap between Fall 2017 hair jewelry and jewelry ,

# 6. Tiaras

These are by far the most glamorous fall / winter 2017-20 18 hair accessories. You can channel your inner princess this fall with a fantastic tiara. Whether you can justify wearing a tiara in real life or not, it's certainly an accessory that's fun to hide in the back of the closet.

At Dolce & amp; Gabbana, the Tiaras definitely had a self-confident, toy princess element. Some tiaras had a more traditional golden design, but with some whimsical stars and moons, while others were colorful, with toy jewel elements and unique patterns. I have to give an honorable mention to the adorable cat Tiara.

A tiara that really stood out was in Rodarte. It consisted of two arches above and below, between which large silver ornaments were set with stones. It looked antique, and really extraordinary.

# 7. Hairclips < hair clips are some of the most useful of the fall 2017 hair accessories trends. they are not too big or too small, and they do a perfect job of securing the hair in place.

Being so utilitarian, they also look pretty young and girlish, while their size means that there is plenty of room for playfulness. This season we saw hair clips in all manner of manners.

Hair clips on # 21 were young, mostly because they were paired with natural looking loose waves. Models wore hair clips in a variety of simple shapes, including tears and lines that were covered in Bling-Y crystals. This is the second season in a row that the models wear statement hair clips on Ashley Williams. Last season, the jeweled hair clips said "BOYS" and "GIRLS", but this year the statement was a bit more up to date: The hair clips proclaimed either "PARADISE" or "PARANOIA".

Large, brooch-style barrettes were the way Rodarte used this trend. These large hair clips had an ancient air about them, and by mixing silver and gold metals, some rules were broken. They were studded with jewels and had a few loose, dangly pieces attached to them. Similar to how some hairpins were worn this season, we also saw serious hair clip overuse at Annakiki. Smooth metallic hair clips were placed over the heads of the models, on the hair, which was pulled together heavily into a twisted knot. There were even a few hair clips that sticked out of the rolls themselves.

Maison Margiela is a house you can always rely on to do something unique. A model at Margiela really caught our attention, with massive metal braces all over the head that looked almost like a hat or construction.

# 8. Subdued yet visible elastics

Since ponytails were such a big part of the hairstyle trends this fall, the visible elastics that secured them became an obvious part of hair style. Accessory trends in autumn / winter 2017-2018. Traditional hair elastics and elastics are not exactly part of a professional look, but this season is changing thanks to all the designers who brought back ponytails. While a few designers decide to hide them by wrapping a strand of hair around the base of the ponytail, it is said that most do not.

Carolina Herrera and Thierry Mugler had simple, black rubber band straps that hold the hair back in a look that is subtle and extremely reachable. A thick piece of latex had a similar but slightly edgy effect on the runway of Olivier Theyskens. At Delpozo, three neutrally tinted rubber bands were used on each model, but the largest one that stood out was the three that put two small ponytails and the rest of the hair together to form a large, interesting ponytail.

# 9. Bobby Pins

Whether it was simple bobby pins or more elegant jeweled pins, in the fall of 2017 it's a wealth of these creative pieces of jewelry.

Simultaneously simply unique was the way the models at Cividini wore golden hairpins. The hairpins were placed very visibly and thus all the rules were broken, both on the sides of the heads of the models, as well as on the whole folded ponytail buns. Cristiano Burani had a similar idea, but taken to extremes. Tufts of hair were covered with black needles so that they were flat and made them look almost like hair ornaments.

Maybe the hairpins on Ermanno Scervino were more elegant and wearable. Two large statement hairpins were attached to one side of the heads of the models, keeping the hair away from their faces and looking stunning.

At Toga, using the hairpin trend was anything but subtle. Everywhere colorful pens were attached, which had a strange effect that we have seen much more in the last season.

# 10. Floral Hair Accessories

Flowers Hair accessories were definitely more common during the spring and summer, but we still saw a few notes of floral arrangements making their way into the fall / winter r 2017-2018 hair accessories trends. These floral arrangements were lush, fresh and feminine and have brought a lot of color and joy into the season.

At Dolce & amp; Gabbana, of course, the flowers are all about the beauty of the old world. They were attached to different types of headbands and tiaras, in large, beautiful groups.

Flowers were also used as hair accessories in Marchesa. Large, lush and fresh flower arrangements lay directly over the forehead and on the side of the temple. These arrangements also contained many green leaves that helped them to look fresh and natural.
