Simplicity was seen in the autumn / winter 2017-2018 trends, especially when compared to previous years. Manicurists focused on making portable, fast nail polish designs with many bare nails, short nails, and solid, lustrous colors. As a result, the more avant-garde nail polish styles of the season came out much better and became more amazing.
Whether you're on the go with your manicure or prefer a leisurely pace, you'll find something in fall 2017. Nail polish Trend like s!
Before you browse the best nail art and nail polish trends for fall 2017, you'll want to know which length and shape to keep in the coming season. These are the usual lengths and shapes of the fall 2017 nails on the runways:
Short nails : In Many men have taken the nails of the Runway models to a short, practical, square shape. Englisch: www.mjfriendship.de/en/index.php?op...27&Itemid=47. That did not stop her from covering those beautiful short nails with all manner of crazy nail polish colors. We saw shorter nails on the catwalks of Alice + Olivia, Christian Siriano, Altuzarra, Temperley London, Stella Jean and Nicole Miller.
Oval nails square : This classic shape is a bit edgier and sharper than a traditional oval it was a pleasure to see everything on the slopes. It is a perfect shape for everyday life, because it is still completely work-appropriate, but still somewhat unusual.
A woman with edgy oval nails radiates meticulous thoughtfulness and an undeniable sense of fashion ability. As part of the autumn / winter 2017-2018 nail trends on the catwalks by Marc Jacobs, Alexis Mabille and Philipp Plein, we saw square oval nails.
Almond Nails : This classic shape was everywhere on the runways as part of the Fall 2017 nail trends. It is fair to say that almond nails will always be a safe choice that will never go out of fashion. Manicurists rocked this traditional form with Leitmotiv, Jenny Packham and Byblos.
Stiletto Nails : Why do you have nails if you can rock claws? The Fall / Winter 2017-2018 nail trends include the type of nails that could seriously injure a man. Edgy, stiletto nails were painted in all sorts of colors and were even adorned with a variety of different applications. We saw stiletto acrylic nails by Vivienne Westwood, Gareth Pugh and Gucci.
# 1. Opaque Metallic Nails
Every season, a few solid nail polish colors are the catwalks. For nail polish trends in the fall of 2017, the most exciting of the outstanding choices was all metallics.
A shimmering or metallic nail is easy to reach, but it just looks so funny. Metallics radiate glamor and class, but seeing how they completely cover the nail is actually a bit whimsical.
At Alexis Mabille, the gold nails were specifically designed to combine the golden eyeshadow, gold boots, and statement gold jewelry worn by the models. The manicure was also good at Oscar de la Renta, where the models wore a shiny, champagne-colored nail polish.
The manicure colors at Byblos were different, and we loved seeing a bright, warm silver on some models. At Badgley Mischka we saw a subtle dark metallic gray manicure on shorter nails. At Roland Mouret, the nails were a slightly iridescent metallic gray.
# 2. Taupe and Shades of Gray
Cool, classy and just a bit austere, taupe and gray only make sense for the fall / winter 2017-2018 nail trends. Grays are anything but boring on the nails. They are defiant unfeminine and yet muted, especially since they were applied this season mostly on shorter nails. The models in Eudon Choi had a light shade of gray on their short nails. In Jill Stuart, a shiny dark gray with a hint of greenery made for a nondescript look. The nails were a classic, round shape. Classic almond-shaped nails were painted by Michael Kors in Taupey gray.
# 3. Red Nails
An eternal sex symbol, it's no surprise that red nail polish has made it to this list of fall / winter 2017-2018 nail trends , What's really fun about all the blood-red nails of this season is that we see them in all shapes and sizes!
It's not just the long, classic almond-shaped nails that carry this fiery shadow, but also shorter nails. What was a lot of fun, is that these nails are decorated here and there with different elements. For example, in Leitmotiv, we saw opaque shorter nails with shiny surfaces, many of them in a cool shade of red. Even shorter were the dark red nails on the catwalks of Paula Ka and Pamella Roland. Jeremy Scott's blood-red nails were sharp and long, some were adorned with gold stars, others plain and majestically her red, shiny beauty.
# 4. Classic Black Nails
Some of the fall / winter 2017 nail trends seem to deliberately ignore the upcoming cold weather by presenting bright and vibrant nail art. Other manicurists and designers were ready to greet the cold and dark with noble black manicures.
The nails on the Marchesa catwalk remind me of my Baby Goth days, but much more successful. They were kept short, painted black glossy and looked somehow ultra clean and chic.
At Leitmotiv, some of the models wore similarly short, black nails, which worked wonderfully with the more upmarket make-up and damp hair. At Zang Toi we also saw black nails, albeit with a matte finish, adorned with a shiny blue square in the middle.
# 5. Timeless Nudes
Another Manicure that never goes out of fashion is the nudefarbenlichen nail in the colors pink and peach. It's easy to look after, it looks natural and it's always appropriate. In other words, we're happy to see this style in the Fall / Winter 2017-2018 nail trends.
At Au Jour Le Jour, the warm, pale hue was applied to a longer, almond-shaped nail. It was interesting to see on a longer nail where the lack of a white tip made it look a bit unique. At Cividini, a short, nude nail worked seamlessly with a feminine collection and a dewy make-up.
# 6. Chunky Nail Polish
< at naeem khan, thick layers of gold, bronze, and silver glitter stood on a black nail polish base with a glamorous rock'n'roll vibe. The models at Christian Siriano wore layers over layers of thick nail polish over short nails, for a look that was essentially unfeminine and very textured. Three layers of polish and a last layer of glitter made these nails unforgettable.
At House of Holland, a mosaic patchwork effect has been achieved with small square nail stickers with opalescent shimmer.
# 7. Color Blocked Nail Art
Um To avoid tiny, delicate designs for the fall / winter 2017-2018 nail trends, created manicurists instead its nail art with block or thick splashes of color. Playing with such a color is easy to achieve with a little tape, so it is a relief to anyone who does not have a steady hand. These looks are more graphic and very grown-up.
For Jenny Packham, the color-blocked nail tips were all the rage. With the help of a little tape and just two dots of color, a graphic triangular point was achieved in a softer and darker gray.
At Monse, coloring the ring finger made it half silver, over black paint. It was subtler, artistic glamor.
After all, the models at Novis wore a black base of nail polish, and each of their nails was covered with two blocks of bright colors: yellow, red, pink or gray.
# 8 Accents
A touch of gold is a great way to glamorize a nail, and it's one too very safe way to create a more interesting manicure without worrying about being too crazy. We saw a few different ways in which manicures were updated with just a little gold, something more subtle, and more.
At Laura Biagiotti, the nails showed two of the nail polish trends in the fall of 2017. Bare nails were accented with alternating thick horizontal stripes of gold polish, along the side of the nail and just below the top. With Jeremy Scott, some red nails in the middle were marked with a golden star, maybe in a nice nod to the Soviet flag. Marc Jacobs wanted to present the brand with a gold logo that was carefully applied to every dark nail.
For Nicholas K, the accent nail that had painted a solid gold was the pinky, while the remaining nails were adorned with a diagonal gold stripe along the top, while the rest of the nail painted a naked shadow. The accent nail was gold at Lanyu, too.
# 9. Glitter & amp; ; Shiny Nails
Sparkling shine always adds a bit of fun to any boring, old look. I think glitter makes sense for the winter, what about the upcoming holidays, the snow and the general need to find a way to fend off the monotony.
The nails of Tadashi Shoji were painted gold and then crowned with clusters of pink and colorful glitter for a chaotic patchwork effect.
At Michael Costello, manicurist Rita Remark applied a shimmering bronze shadow to the nail tips, but the look was messy in an interesting way. The tips were totally opaque, but toward the base of the nail the polish did not fade well into the white base polish, instead it looked a bit battered.
At The Blonds, the models were ready to battle their nails with their golden fish scales. It was a powerful manicure, with a fantasy warrior touch.
# 10. About the Crescent Moon Manicures
Also known as an inverted French manicure, Half Moon Manicures are a way to make nail art that is totally appropriate for the office et is. As part of nail polish trends in the fall of 2017, most crescent manicures appeared to have a muted color such as white or nude and a lighter color.
For Tanya Taylor, Essie's manicures created three different sickle moon manicures of varying shades on shorter, edged nails. The moon at the base of the nail was naked, with tips in different shades.
At Sachin & amp; Babi's models walked the runway with distinct blood-red and shiny cream-colored half-moon nails, representing two of the fall / winter 2017-2018 nail art trends.
For Prabal Gurung, the negative space was an ongoing theme that was part of both make-up and nail-look. Gray nail polish was applied to most of the nail, but the crescent at the base was left completely bare.
Finally, Moschino's brown and white crescent nails should serve as cardboard tape.
# 11. Small 3D Precious Jewel Applications
Every season, we can expect designers and manicurists to be the only ones things that they want to stick to their nails, go a bit crazy. Surprisingly, for the fall / winter 2017-2018 nail trends, the applications were dainty and reasonably large.
The manicure for Manish Arora was in perfect harmony with the pearly make-up. Similar to the beads, which were glued in beautiful patterns on the faces of the models, pearls were also glued to the iridescent painted nails of the models.
At Antonio Marras, only the accent nail was decorated with pearls! Three beads in different colors decorated the accent nail. The nails went from smaller to larger, in a thoughtful stylish choice. The rest of the nails, along with the base of the accent nail, were painted in glossy gray.
If we break through the delicate theme, we can always rely on Gucci, where massive claws were studded with multicolored gemstones / p>
# 12. Line-Based Manicures
Whether you're using striping tape played or simply applied precise splashes of color, line manicures were the subject of the autumn / winter 2017-2018 nail trends. These graphic manicures showed artistic creativity under pressure and how something wonderful can be really easy.
Glamorous stilettos were the best choice for Cushnie et Ochs. The sharp nails were painted cream and decorated with silver stripes. For some nails it was close to the base, others near the tips, and some even double stripe. It was classic and high fashion.
Thick lines were also used as part of the Fall / Winter 2017-2018 nail trends. At Tracy Reese, blood-red stripes were adorned with a French manicure that took a different direction on each nail. At Delpozo, every naked nail has been decorated with a single line in the middle for an effective manicure.
# 13. Long Hanging Bits & amp; Pieces
While most designers and manicurists chose subtle and fast manicures this season, some decided to go as far as possible in the opposite direction. We loved those impractical nails that were the definition of nail art - beautiful, but not functional. Whether by tying or by piercing the (faux) nail plate, manicurists attached large tassels and fringes that swing wildly, which makes the nails literally larger than life.
At Libertine, colorful nails in reds and pinks were covered with all sorts of 3D applications, including pearls, jewels and even a large tassel. At Baja East, oval faux nails were painted in a consistent color, and an accent nail was pierced at the top with a long and heavy-looking string of pearls.
At Philipp Plein, the looks were particularly chaotic and metallic, with the tips of the index, middle and ring fingers all pierced and the rings of a gold check attached to them. To make sure that you did not miss the gothic subtext, the nails were long, sharp and held in a strong black.
# 14. Polka Dot
Polka Dots are usually one of the most valuable nail polish choices that will end up looking girly and youthful. As part of the nail trends in the fall of 2017, however, we see a more mature variant of dots, which are carefully placed in darker, monochrome shades.
At Alice + Olivia, black gloss was the main reason paint on the nail, with two gray dots creating interest in the base of the nail. In Lela Rose, the nails were almost reversed, with gray nail polish forming the base of the nail, and black dots everywhere.
# 15. Chipped Nails
Messy and smeared were big issues in the make-up look this season, so it's not Surprise to see the nail varnish equivalent of makeup smeared, nail polish, make it into the fall / winter 2017-2018 nail polish trends. I am not sure if such a look will prevail day by day, but if so, those of you who find it difficult to maintain your nail polish will be happy.
Desigual, on the signature look of the season, the nude nail look, has been streaked with patches of black and gray nail polish. At Mulberry, the look looked much more organic, with black nail polish showing a hint of chipping at the tips and near the base.
# 16. Bare Nails
Since the bare skin was the make-up course this season, it's not surprising that on the catwalks for the Nail trends in the fall of 2017 bare nails can be seen. This nail trend miraculously shows a departure from extreme femininity, along with the shorter nails we've seen.
At Vivienne Tam's nails were completely nude, with no hint of nail polish. For Zadig et Voltaire, most of the nails except for a solid blue ring finger and a small tape attached to the base of the little finger were also released.
In Tibi, the index finger had a solid color such as pink or red, while the rest of the fingers received only a clear topcoat. The nails of Jenny Packham were covered with a diagonal gray stripe, while the rest of the nail was covered with only a thin layer of a clear topcoat. At Mary Katrantzou, we saw naked nails, covered with just a hint of a clear topcoat.
